Carey's Departure

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. ~ 1 John 5:20 (KJV)

Hmmm...I assume that you mean that Carey is currently on her way back home. Presently is one of the most commonly misused words in the English language. It means very soon, not at this time. Misleading, is it not? Ah, the things we learn when studing for the Graduate Record Examination! (The GRE, for the uninitiated, is the standardized test used by many graduate schools as part of the application portfolio. Fun stuff, let me tell you!) Anyway, I do apologize for the English lesson. ;)
I am glad you all survived and look forward to hearing more about it!

Guess I would have flunked that GRE exam, eh!? lol
I do appreciate the English lesson! I think I often misuse "presently" because of French. When you want to say "currently" in French, you say "présentement"(which is prensently).

Hope the studying goes well, Georges, and you'll get some peace and quiet. *glances at Leila and Sarah*

I didn't just enjoy my stay -- you all are addicting! I was actually crying when I had to board my plane. Seriously, I would really like to move to Montreal. Too bad I've got to bother with a permit of some sort. Hey, don't they offer a dual citizenship? I think my aunt has a dual citizenship... hmm. *thinking*

I am really happy that you enjoyed your short stay with us. Just finish what you started, Carey, and the Lord will direct your path. That I am sure of!

GRE advice: study your vocabulary! Get one of the books that has a lot of sample questions in it (I used the GRE for Dummies book). I found some of the reading comprehension questions much harder than I thought they would be.
