The greatest crown of all
CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS - For those that love His appearing
CROWN OF LIFE - For those that love the Lord and endure even to death (martyrs)
Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
CROWN OF GLORY - For the Sheppard of the flock (Pastor)
The greatest crown of all goes to King Jesus. When He came a Saviour, He bore the crown of thorns that He might die for our sins and give us eternal life:
Mat 27:29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
But when He shall return as King Jesus, He shall bear the greatest crown!
Isa 28:5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Rev 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
I cannot wait to meet KING JESUS, and I too wish to cast my crowns before the throne of my King.
Rev 4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Excellent post, Sarah.
You here some Christians say they are nto worried about getting any rewards in heaven, they just want to get there. That is a wicked thing to say. If somebody says that, it suggests that they do not trust Christ to secure their entry into heaven.
We are saved by grace, but we must strive to earn our crown.
Every Blessing in Christ

Thanks, Matthew.
I think it would be the saddest thing for a Christian to get to Heaven and realize they have no rewards.
Christians too will go through a judgement, the judgment seat of Christ.
We have a race to run, and at the end of the race, there's a price!

LOL, Sarah.
The greatest reward I can think of is my Love saying to me "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Well said, Carey.
That should be every Christian's goal!
