A perfect peace
This scripture gives us a promise of peace, and gives us the way to obtain this peace. When our minds are stayed on the Lord and on the goodness of Him, no matter what’s going on around us, we have an assurance of peace. And not just peace, but PERFECT PEACE. A peace that will enable us to stand in the midst of any trial. A peace that gives us confidence that we can be still and know that He is God (Ps. 46:10) even when placed in the center of a storm.
A peace that assures us our God is always in control of all things, and if He can part the Red Sea and allow the children of Israel to walk through on dry land, surely He is able to take care of our daily needs. A peace that reminds us that we serve the great “I AM”, not the great “I was”, or the great “I’m going to be”! The Lord says, “I AM” the God that delivers; “I AM” the God who supplies your needs; “I AM” the God who heals; “I AM” the God of your salvation; “I AM” the God who forgives; “I AM” the God who loves; “I AM” the God who fulfills and “I AM” the God of peace which passeth all understanding (Phi 4:7)!

Amen!
In the stormiest parts of life I always remember Psalm 46:10 and Philipians 4:7. They're awesome passages that remind us who's in control.
So...we walk by faith, with the peace of God in our hearts. Good one.
In Christ,
L. :)

Hey Joe, commit everything to the Lord, and He will guide your path. Have faith. We're all praying for you.
P.S. I am praying for God's guidance to see if I could go to CA for a week this summer, all in the honor of your grad, yay!! ;)
Leonard, you got it. The walk of faith is rewarding! I only found out by reading the morning paper that it was the Chinese new year. The year of the pig. Nice.

Let's put things back in perspective, please.
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

PEACE. Now that is something that the world talks so much about, but can't seem to find.
It is something that anyone can have, if he will have the Lord....for Jesus IS the Prince of PEACE, amen.
Praise God for our precious redeemer, who has given us peace WITH God, and when we pray, the peace OF God.
Thanks for the great post!
