That I May Know Him

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. ~ 1 John 5:20 (KJV)

More Larkin reading!

Yesterday, I finished reading “Rightly Dividing the Word” by Clarence Larkin, a book I highly recommend. Larkin covers the A to Z of Christianity. I learned and got tons of nuggets from his book.

My next adventure is “The Spirit World”, also by Larkin (surprise!).

From the front cover:

This book gives the teaching of the Holy Scriptures as to the “Spirit World”. It treats of the “Power of Good and Evil,” of the “Under-world,” of “Satan,” of the “Fallen Angels,” of “Demonism,” of “Soul Sleep,” the “Intermediate State” the “Resurrections” and “Judgments” and of “Heaven” and “Hell”.

If our fight is against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12), we should know exactly what we are facing and how ought we put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:13).

It’s not a very long book, but it should be an interesting one.
