Sweet
I like sweet things. Often after having a meal, I need to eat something sweet for an after-taste.
It's the same concept with my days. I'm in an un-christian environment all day long and by the time I come home, I need a change of taste, I need something sweet and there is no better way of ending a long day than with digging into God's Word.
~How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103

I know the feeling. It is like spending a day in a dry and thirsty land and finally having that moment of refreshment. God's word is such an amazing gift to us, is it not?

*laughs* Sarah, you are funny (and cute of course). Personally, I don't care that much for sweets, but I love fruit!
Yes, it is so refreshing to be with believers after a day of being in the world! I know I'm always so happy to come home after a day at school.

Angie, it was sweet speaking to you last night!
Matthew, thanks.
Carey, I think you are adorable! It's wonderful being with christian friends, maybe that is why I enjoy blogging!
You are all a blessing!!!

Yay. Carey loves fruit. I do too but my daughter couldn't care much, that's when I tell her "you are not Lebanese". Canaan land is rich in fruit (and olives and olive oil).

lol, I am weird that way. I only care for exotic fruits. lol, like strawberrys, water melons, mangos. I like apples, bananas and oranges, but they just don't satisfy like the others do.
Maybe that has to do with the fact than when my brother and I were younger, mom decided to stuff us with 5 bananas in one day because she had heard that they were good for the growth of a child!!!!!!!

Strawberries are exotic? We used to grow them in our garden when I was young. ;)

*laughs* You two are cute. I could probably eat 5 bananas a day, but my tummy might not be so happy.
We used to grow strawberries too, but the soil down here is horrible. Only good for growing rocks... and weeds.

Well, I stopped growing at age 14, so no amount of bananas can help me now.

what do you mean by that?

*laughs* I know what she meant. I think your mom was thinking of us "stopping growing" in the spiritual sense, but I know she knew what we meant. LOL. Am I right?
